Day - 01 Udaipur |

- Morning Arrival, Full Day Sight Seeing of Udaipur, visit
: City Palace, Jagdish Temple Sahelion-Ki-Bari and Lake round of Fateh Sagar.
|

City Palace : An enormous edifice, 30.4 mtrs. high and 224 mtrs. in
length. It is Built by Maharana Udai Singh (1537-1572).
Sahelion-ki-bari : Built by Maharana Sangram Singh Ji 1710 (Foundation) &
1734(Complete).
Jagdish Temple : Dedicated to Lord Vishnu, this temple was built in 1651 A.D.
by Maharana Jagat Singh 1. Reached by a steep staircase flanked
by stone elephants, the external walls and the plinth are
covered with bas-reliefs-friezes of alligators, elephants,
horsemen and celestial musicians.

Mandal and after that drive to Mount Abu. (3 hr.), check-in at

visit: Nakki Lake (It was dug out by nails), Dilwara Jain
Temples and Achal Garh & Guru Shikhar.

- Jodhpur ( via Ranakpur ) |

- After Breakfast, drive to Jodhpur (via
Ranakpur - Famous Jain Temples), evening visit to Girdikot and
Sardar Market.
Ranakpur : Though over 500 years old,
the temples here are superbly preserved in a near-perfect
condition. In the center is the main temple dedicated to
Tirthankara Rishabdeo with a "Chaumukha" or four-faced shrine
dedicated to Adinath. The most distinctive features are the 29
halls of the temple which contain 1444 pillars of which no two
are exactly alike.

- After breakfast, drive to Ranthambore (4
hr.), Explore the park and You will be accompanied by a
naturalist into the Park for morning and evening safari.
Ranthambhore
National Park (Sawai Madhopur): This
wildlife
reserve
figures amongst the notable national parks in the century.
Wildlife viewing opportunities are in abundance here. With
extensive flora and fauna, the park is a favourite for the
tourists with special interest in wild life. The sprawling
dry deciduous forest of Dhok in Ranthambhor is well known for
Tigers, numbering over 28. An encounter with this
predator is not rare here. Prominent prey species of tiger
include sambar, cheetal, nilgai, wild bear, chinkara and langur.
Interestingly, the peafowl also forms a major menu item of this
big cat. Placid water of three lakes- Padam Talab, Rajbagh and
Milak Talab- in the park beckon large numbers of migratory and
local birds.

hr.), visit to
Ranthambhore National Park explore the park
Keoladeo National
Park (Bharatpur) : Once royal hunting reserve of the princely
family of Bharatpur
today, it is one of the most breathtaking water bird sanctuaries
in India. Migratory birds flock here in July/August on the
marshes and low lying trees. They breed here till
October/November. There are thorny babul trees, their tops above
the water, holding the nests of thousands of birds that come
here. The outstanding species are the open billed stock, painted
stork, egret, pelican, ibis, cormorant, darter or snake-bird,
spoonbill and grey hereon. There are exotic migrants from
Afghanistan, Central Asia, Tibet as well as Grey lag Geese from
Siberia, Siberian Cranes from the Arctic and Bar headed Geese
from China
